Overview

Google offers a service that allows you to view your Grapheec email within Gmail. It's called 'Mail Fetcher' and you can use it to import email to Google. You can use this service instead of forwarding your email to Gmail.

This article explains how to set up Mail Fetcher at Google. For further information, see the following Google support page:

The following instructions only allow you to IMPORT existing email from your Grapheec account. Gmail no longer allows you the ability to sync a Grapheec email address to a Gmail address to retrieve future emails. This requires 'Gmailify', which is currently unavailable at Grapheec.

Additionally, only emails in your Inbox will be fetched from Google (since you're using a POP connection).

Checking your Grapheec email in Gmail

  1. Log into Gmail.

  2. On the top right, click the gear icon.

  3. From the dropdown, choose 'Settings'.

  4. Click the 'Accounts and Import' tab.

  5. Next to 'Check mail from other accounts:', click 'Add a mail account'.

  6. Enter your FULL email address and then click the Next button.

  7. Click the Next button. As mentioned in the warning box above, you can only import email to Google since Gmailify is not available.

  8. Enter the following:
    • Username — Your full Grapheec email address.
    • Password — Your Grapheec email password.
    • POP Server — This should only be 'mail.sitehub.com'.
    • Port — 995 (for secure POP3 mail). Note: You must use POP. Using port 993 for IMAP will not connect.
    • Leave a copy of the retrieved message on the server — Check this option.
    • Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail — Check this option.
    • Label incoming messages — Check the box if you’d like to easily see which emails in your inbox came from this account.
    • Archive incoming messages — Don’t check. Only check if you don’t want to see new messages from the other account in your inbox.
  9. When finished entering the settings, click the Add Account button.

     A confirmation appears notifying you that the address has been added. You can now continue to configure sending emails as this user. DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW YET!

Continue to configure this address to also send email
  1. Select the 'Yes' radio button and then click the Next button.

  2. On the pop-up, enter the name you wish to be seen when sending email from this new address. Then enter the full email and click 'Next Step'.

  3. On the next page, enter the following:
    • SMTP Server —  mail.sitehub.com
    • Port — 465
    • Username — Your FULL Grapheec email address
    • Password — The email password

  4. Check the option for SSL and click 'Add Account'.

  5. An email is sent to the Grapheec address with a verification code. Copy that code and paste it into this window.
    (Make sure to navigate to webmail.sitehub.io and check your inbox for this verification code)

  6. Navigate back to your Gmail settings page.

  7. Scroll down to the 'Send mail as' section. You now see your new Grapheec address.

  8. To send mail as this address, click the 'make default' link to the right.

  9. When you send an email in the future, it sends 'as' your Professional address, not your Gmail address.

Sending an email that shows your Grapheec address

Now that you've configured your Grapheec email address in Gmail, you can send an email within your Gmail account.

When creating a new message, click the down arrow icon for the FROM address and select your Grapheec email before sending:

When someone receives the email, it appears as if it was sent from your Grapheec email account.
